TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 Grade L04 - £9,462 - £10,346 FULL TIME - PERMANENT Term time only with no term time leave 27 ½ hours per week Required from: January 2018 or soon after RE-ADVERTISED POST – PREVIOUS APPLICATIONS FOR THIS POST WILL BE CONSIDERED The Governors of Wat’s Dyke School seek to appoint a motivated and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant who is keen to play an active role within the Lower Foundation Phase. The successful candidate will have a full understanding of the Foundation Phase Curriculum as well as the ability to translate this into exciting and relevant experiences for the children. The successful candidate will need:• To have knowledge and experience of the Foundation Phase• To have knowledge of how children learn best• Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills• NVQ Level 2 essential – NVQ level 3 desirable• To have an understanding of the learning outcomes for assessment• To demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with a committed team within Lower Foundation Visits to the school are welcomed on Monday, 11th December, at 3.30pm, and can be arranged via the School Administration Officer.
