Inclusion Officer
Soulbury 10-13 (plus 3 SPA points as appropriate)
Required for April 2018 (or as soon after)
We are keen to appoint a highly skilled, suitably qualified and experienced professional to fill this position within the Education Department.
The Inclusion Officer will work as a member of the Education Department supporting, advising and reporting directly to the Inclusion Manager.
The successful candidate will work as part of an established and effective team of Inclusion Officers, Statutory Assessment Manager and administration staff to coordinate the provision for pupils with additional learning needs. The post holder will need to demonstrate extensive knowledge of the current SEN Statutory processes and the impending Education and ALN Tribunal Bill.
We expect the successful candidate to have proven experience of working with learners with SEN and in particular those pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. The successful candidate will have excellent, organisational and communication skills.
The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is desirable but not essential.
