[CLOSING DATE: Fri, 23 Mar 2018] Formal Learning Officer L07£20,661 - £24,174 37 hours per week Permanent Tŷ Pawb are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised Formal Learning Officer, with a background in gallery education, to join our dynamic team at Wrexham’s new Arts, Markets and Cultural centre, opening in April 2018. The Formal Learning Officer will be responsible for the design and delivery of Tŷ Pawb’s formal learning programme, which will take place primarily in our new learning studio; and will include educational workshops for schools, weekly and seasonal classes and masterclasses for adults, and other activities as required. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a creative and versatile approach to successfully meeting the income target for Tŷ Pawb’s formal learning programme, and will have an excellent track record of developing and delivering successful arts workshops and courses within budget. The formal learning programme will need to link with Tŷ Pawb’s exhibition programme, informal public programme and the mission statement in general; as such the Formal Learning Officer will work in close dialogue with the Creative Director and Curator to ensure a joined up approach. The Formal Learning Officer will have excellent interpersonal skills and will be adept at building and maintaining relationships with schools and other customer groups.
