TERM TIME ONLY WITH NO TERM TIME LEAVE
The Governors are seeking to employ a hard-working, professional Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a 1:1 basis. The position will be on a temporary basis until 20th July 2017 initially and will be for the set time outlined on the children’s statement/agreement of educational need.
The successful candidate will be required to work 15 hours overall. These hours will be broken down as follows:
5 hours per week in a mainstream class within our Infant Department,
5 hours per week in a mainstream class within our Junior Department.
There will also be a requirement for the successful candidate to do a lunch duty for 1 hour per day.
The successful candidate will:
• Display a flexible and adaptable approach• Have high expectations of children’s behaviour and be committed to supporting and promoting positive pupil well-being• Have excellent communication skills• Be committed to work as part of a successful team• Have a good level of literacy and numeracy skills
