Wellbeing Officer - TRAC Team

[CLOSING DATE: Fri, 25 May 2018] Education – Prevention & Support Well-being Officer, TRAC team NJC Grade L05 (15-19) £17,972 - £19,446 pro rata Based in Whitegate Industrial Estate, Wrexham 37 hours per week This post is term-time only (38 working weeks per annum) in line with WCBC school term dates. Wrexham County Borough Council and Flintshire County Council Coleg Cambria are working collaboratively to raise aspirations and engage young people who are at risk of becoming NEET through the TRAC project. The Well-being Officer will be lead worker for a caseload of approximately 20 young people engaged in the ‘TRAC’ project in Flintshire. The post holder will be responsible for supporting emotional, social and bevahioural needs of young people in a range of setttings. Ideally, candidates will have a range of expeirence in using a variety of strategies to encourage the engagement and development of young people aged 11-16 years old. This post is temporary until 31 December 2020, funding is sought to extend the post until 31 July 2021. Job share or secondments will be considered.
