Full time post based in Wrexham
37 hours per week£28,221 - £35,229 per annum
The North Wales Adoption Service is seeking an experienced social worker. The post holder will be required to undertake the assessment, training and support of prospective adopters and be directly involved with the matching of children with families across the region.
The six local authorities, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Wrexham and Ynys Môn have combined their adoption services in order to provide a more cost effective and co-ordinated service and improve support services for all those involved with adoption.
Candidates will need to be registered with Social Care Wales and have at least three years post qualifying experience in child care social work including direct experience of adoption work.
Existing staff may be considered for secondment.
