[CLOSING DATE: Fri, 27 Jul 2018] A vacancy has arisen for a committed person to join the team of senior support staff within the community support and Vetting Agency services of domiciliary care.
If successful you will demonstrate a willingness to learn to assess the needs of people in referred to the service. This includes working closely with Social Workers to achieve the best possible outcomes for people.
You will maintain a case load of people in receipt of the service and meet the requirements of the Social Services and Wellbeing Act and the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act when the service becomes registered.
A full induction into the post will be provided; this will include guidance on safe recruitment and the management of self-employed workers.
On-going support and supervision will be provided by the Homecare Manager.
You will be prepared to participate in the out of hours support arrangements to staff.
As this is a registered service the successful candidate will be required to maintain:
• Registration with Social Care Wales when the register becomes available• An appropriate DBS disclosure certificate checked against the adults and children’s barred lists
