The North Wales Adoption Service is seeking an Independent Panel Chair for the Flintshire and Wrexham Joint Adoption Panel. The Chair must be independent of the adoption agency, have experience and understanding of the adoption process and meet the requirements of the job description and person specification below. The role of the chair is crucial in ensuring that the panel's work is carried out efficiently and sensitively. The chair will need to ensure that all panel members contribute to discussion and make clear recommendations supported by reasons the ability to command the respect of the other panel members and chair the panel meetings effectively.
Panels are held on a monthly basis with occasional emergency panels when required.
