LO5 (Point range 14-19) - £9,901 - £10,713 per annum
TERM TIME ONLY WITH NO TERM TIME LEAVE
Temporary until 19/4/20 the English as an Additional Language service seeks to appoint a Bilingual Teaching Assistant who speaks Arabic and English to work within the service on a peripatetic basis under the guidance of EAL teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision. The role will involve supporting and implementing agreed work programmes with individuals and groups of newly arrived EAL learners to develop English language skills and enable them to access the curriculum. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area. The role also includes liaison between school and families including parents’ evenings.
