1x 37 hour post - Permanent
LO5 £17,972 - £19,446 plus enhancements
The night support service (homecare/reablement at night) covers the whole of the County Borough to provide care and support to Vulnerable Adults. This may be as part of the Intermediate Care or Reablement services or for a longer term to support people to remain independent in their own homes.
You will work as part of a team but some of the duties will be as a lone worker, all of the supportive measures, including comprehensive risk assessments, are in place.
The duties include:
• Inclusion in the Mobile response team where you will attend urgent, non medical, calls to people through Delta Wellbeing and assistive technology schemes.• Inclusion in the uninjured faller team where you will visit people who have fallen at home and following an assessment you may, using the equipment available, pick them up.
Modern vehicles are provided for staff to drive; these are equipped with a tracking system for additional staff safety therefore you must hold a current, full, driving licence.
Due to the nature of the currently supported service users' requirements, at this time there is a genuine occupational requirement for the post to be filled by female staff.
A suitable enhanced DBS disclosure which includes checks against DBS children and adults barred lists will be required.
