[CLOSING DATE: Fri, 13 Sep 2019] Permanent Support Worker 3x 19hrs (76 hours per 4 weeks ) plus 1 x 37 hours (148 hours per 4 weeks) G05 - £ 19,171- £19,945 (pro-rata) Short Term Break Service At Park View we have an exciting opportunity for a person to join our team .. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to come and join our team to provide high quality support to people in the service. This will involve working directly with people we support who may have a range of individual needs which could include, communication difficulties, learning and physical disabilities acquired Brain injury and some challenging behaviour At park View our ethos is to enable the people we support to live a fulfilled life as possible with support and guidance from our staff team, and to assist and encourage them to be as independent as possible. The successful candidate will hold a Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 (or equivalent relevant vocational qualification) or the commitment to obtain with in a given set time The successful candidate will have:  An ability to communicate in both the welsh and English language An understanding of the need of people with disabilities  The ability to work as part of a team and at times on their own initiative after training. Good communication skills – both written and spoken. A caring, kind ,compassionate and fun loving nature A wiliness to undertake relevant training  A flexible approach to work For an application pack, please contact the HR Service Centre, Guildhall, Wrexham, by telephone 01978 292012, Text relay: 18001 01978 292012 or email hrservicecentre@wrexham.gov.uk or download and complete the pdf application form available on the web page.
