What does it take?
You’ll need excellent communication skills, and be experienced in managing staff and working with children with disabilities.
You’ll be expected to help manage the team, ensuring it responds appropriately while working within statutory guidelines, policies and standards such as the Children Act 1989 and 2004, and the Social Services and Well-being Act 2014 Regulation and Inspection of Social Care Wales Act 2016.
You’ll also contribute to the ongoing development of the service, and have the ability and confidence to deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence.
