St Chad’s Church in Wales Voluntary Aided School wishes to appoint a strong and experienced Teaching and Learning Assistant to support a pupil within the school.
The position will be LA funded and will support a KS2 pupil through the school ethos of Ready Respect, Safe, thus encouraging good behaviour and attitudes to learning. It will include work in class and supporting the child during playtimes and lunchtimes.
The successful candidate will:
• Love working with children• Will be consistent and empathetic• Have excellent team working skills • Show excellent use of initiative• Have a positive attitude and a sense of humour
Experience:• Require a strong character who has had much experience of working with pupils in both 1:1 and group settings• Experience of dealing with a variety of issues relating to supporting pupils • A commitment to supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development
