[CLOSING DATE: Fri, 13 Dec 2019] We are looking to appoint two Consultant Social Workers, one worker to join the Family Support Team and one for the Looked After Children’s Team.
The successful candidates will carry a small case load, have some supervising responsibilities whilst also incorporating the role of the Consultant Social Worker Role.
This role offers a good opportunity for anyone considering the next stage of their own development towards management. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate their commitment to achieving better outcomes for children and families and this will be demonstrated through applying theory and research into frontline practice. The CSW will support staff in developing this link and also keeping up to date with the latest research and good practice developments with a responsibility for sharing these and mentoring staff.
To be the right person for this role, you will have excellent communication skills, proven experience of managing complex case work and some supervisory experience whilst working within statutory guidelines, policies and standards.
In order to be considered for this post you must be a registered Social Worker with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Children’s and Families work
