FLYING START ADVISORY TEACHER
FULL –TIME MPR/UPR
x2 - 1 Welsh Essential, 1 Welsh Desirable
Flying Start is a Welsh Government initiative which has been running in Wrexham since 2007, comprising of 4 elements; enhanced health visiting, support with early language development, access to parenting programmes and free quality childcare for children between the age of 2 and 3 years.
The successful candidate will support the development of high quality childcare in a variety of settings, within the County Borough of Wrexham. This is a fixed term position until 31st March 2018, due to annual release of government funding.
You will be required to possess the relevant qualifications, be motivated and enthusiastic and possess sound knowledge and experience of the Foundation Phase pedagogy, to work as a valuable member of the Flying Start team. You must have a keen interest in child development 0 – 3 years and will preferably have some experience of working with under 3’s and of multi-agency working.
