Located on the North East border of Wales with England, Wrexham County offers a dynamic and diverse mix of urban and rural life with Wrexham being the largest town in North Wales. Accommodating new growth and infrastructure in the County is an ongoing challenge and we are seeking to recruit an experienced town planner to help deliver sustainable development.
With a degree in Town Planning or similar and preferably a chartered member of the RTPI, the post holder will need to be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of local and national planning policy in Wales and have excellent communication, report writing and project management skills. An understanding the importance of the Welsh Language and Culture as well as knowledge of equality and diversity is also essential for the posts.
