Grade L03 points 6-11 (£8,272- £8,709 Full Time Equivalent)

Temporary appointment - 1 term only
TERM TIME ONLY WITH NO TERM TIME LEAVE
The Governing body seeks to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with complex needs. We are looking for someone with a high level of flexibility, able to change focus according to the needs of the child at the time. They should work well as a member of a staff team, able to communicate well with children, staff, parents and outside agencies.
The successful candidate will support the pupil in class and work individually on a prepared education plan.
Qualifications - NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) and experience of working 1:1 with a child with Special Educational Needs would also be an advantage. Training in team teach de-escalation methods would be an advantage as would previous experience working with children with behavioural needs.
