Active Young People Officer
18.5 hours per week
Temporary Post until March 2018, due to funding
£20,661 - £24,174 (PRO RATA)
We are seeking an individual who will, as part of a team, be responsible for the delivery of the Active Young People Programme in Wrexham, based within Sports Development.
Principle Duties
To maintain an existing programme of sports activities at local Secondary schools and the wider community.
To work as part of a team to further develop young leaders, Ambassadors and sports volunteers to help support the programme.
Must have a flexible approach and ability to work evenings, weekends to support the programme and help schools, clubs and individuals to improve their capacity to create additional opportunities which will encourage children to become ‘Hooked on Sport’.
