[CLOSING DATE: Wed, 17 May 2017] St Joseph’s Catholic and Anglican High School,
Sontley Road,
Wrexham
LL13 7EN
Headteacher: Mr Christopher Wilkinson
TEACHER I/C OF Music
Full-time, Permanent Post
MPR/UPR
Required from 1ST September 2017
The Governors of this highly successful, unique and oversubscribed English medium school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well qualified and excellent classroom teacher to teach Music across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Music enjoys a high profile in this happy and successful school and the appointee can build upon some very solid foundations. St Joseph’s is Wales’ only shared church school, and is a school where pupils flourish and achieve excellent learning and pastoral outcomes. The school enjoys a full liturgical life and music has a strong input, thus the person appointed will work closely with the Head of the RE Department throughout the year. The successful candidate will build upon the excellent work of the current post holder and will further develop a strong choral and instrumental tradition.
We offer:
A vibrant and rich learning environment, with a strong Christian ethos
A dedicated, experienced and ambitious team of staff and governors
A calm and purposeful school in which behaviour and attendance are excellent
Thriving home, school, parish and community partnerships
A dedicated suite of specialist rooms, and a laptop for every teacher
Applications from practising Anglican or Catholic teachers are particularly welcome, although the Governors are interested to hear from teachers of other faith journeys, too.
To apply for this post please go to www.emmausrecruitment.com and complete the online application process. Please note: applications for the post must be made via the website.
CVs and Letters of application will not be accepted.
In partnership with
the Catholic Diocese of Wrexham; the Church in Wales Diocese of St. Asaph,

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
