[CLOSING DATE: Wed, 05 Jul 2017] Restorative Justice Victim Liaison Officer (Part-time, 3 days per week, to 31st March 2018- subject to external funding) Grade LO7 Scale points 22- 27 £12,396 - £14,504 per annum Wrexham Youth Justice Service (YJS) is a multi- agency team whose vision is to help create, ‘A Wrexham which is safe and crime free for all and where young people are valued citizens within the community’. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual, who has experience of working with victims of crime. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery and promotion of restorative justice in all aspects of the YJS’s work, from Prevention and Out of Court disposals, to statutory Court Orders and custody. We are looking for the individual to be innovative and develop new restorative justice interventions, supporting the YJS’s primary aims of preventing offending and reducing reoffending of young people. The post holder will support and assist in the training and supervision of a number of volunteers and together, this network will provide an engaging and supportive service to victims of youth crime and the young people who have offended. The individual will work within the Restorative Justice Council’s Guidance, the Code of Practice for Victims of Crime and National Standards for Youth Justice.
