INCOME MAXIMISATION UNIT SUPPORT WORKER

22.2 hours per week
A temporary vacancy has arisen for a Support Worker to be based within the Income Maximisation Unit (Welfare Rights), Finance Department. The post will be located in the Lambpit Street office and is funded by MacMillan Cancer Support. It is for 22.2 hours a week, currently to 31st March 2019 though this may be extended.
Main duties will include assisting in updating of information systems, typing and general clerical duties to the MacMillan Welfare Rights Officers. You will be first point of contact for clients, professional staff and other organisations making enquiries to the Department, and be responsible for booking appointments, diary management and statistical recording.
You should have evidence of experience in using Microsoft packages, e.g. Word, Excel and should possess excellent verbal, written, numerical and communication skills.
