TEACHER – WOOWIND (FLUTE specialist preferred)

1 Part-time post (0.4 FTE) required for January 2018.

We are a friendly, collaborative team, working closely with schools in this corner of North-East Wales.
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic individual to teach Woodwind to youngsters who attend Primary and secondary schools within Wrexham County Borough.
The successful candidate will be required to:-
• teach Woodwind to small groups and individuals• coach youngsters at regular Music Centre rehearsals and on courses• perform with the Peripatetic team in school workshops • prepare youngsters for GCSE/A level and external practical examinations
Applications are invited from Woodwind tutors (Flute preferred) who have the relevant experience, performing skills and have a commitment to developing high standards of Wind teaching within the borough. Candidates will be expected to perform during their interview. An ability to play the piano would be an advantage.
Candidates will be considered without a recognised teaching qualification.
