[CLOSING DATE: Fri, 5 Jan 2018] Wrexham County is seeking to appoint a creative Web Design Officer to join its Digital Services Team, part of the wider ICT, Customer Services & Communications section.
We are looking for an excellent communicator who is passionate about producing high-quality content, and accessible online digital experiences. The ability to work on a variety of projects at one time and manage tight deadlines is essential.
Responsibilities will include contributing to, maintaining and developing the technical design, look and feel, functionality, usability and accessibility of the Council’s website and Intranet. You will also be responsible for writing and approving content for the website. The successful candidate will be an advanced CSS, HTML and JavaScript coder with significant experience of design and development, ideally in a corporate environment.
The Digital Services team is also responsible for the Council’s My Account, and My Updates services, as well as working with partners to integrate 3rd party solutions within the website. The team also creates Social Media accounts for teams within the council.
Experience of working with Wordpress, Drupal or similar Content Management System would be an advantage.
