Wrexham County Borough Council would like to recruit an experienced IT professional to manage the ICT Infrastructure team.
The role includes managing a multi-disciplinary team of technicians, analysts and systems development officers to support the running of the Council’s ICT service.
The ideal candidate will have a wide experience of ICT services and have good awareness of how technology infrastructure supports a wide user base. They will be instrumental in reshaping the ICT service for our employees and customers over the next few years.
Reporting to the ICT Lead, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of working in a fast-moving ICT environment as a Team leader. A wide range of technologies are supported by the team so an understanding of Security solutions, firewall management, Microsoft Server, Cisco WAN, LAN & Wireless technologies would be beneficial, as would a knowledge of VMWare and other storage solutions.
