This post is within the Housing and Economy Department and is to provide support and a work planning function, controlling the work of in-house trade operatives in the Housing repairs section, which is responsible for maintaining 11,200 council houses.
You will provide support to the Housing repairs void team, preparing work packs, liaising with colleagues to ensure voids are completed in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the customer.
Liaising with the void site agents and team leader, allocating jobs on the housing management system and scanning of essential documentation.
The post holder will be a self- starting, resilient team worker, with good interpersonal and communication skills along with good I.T. skills and the ability to multi task.
