Applications are invited for the above posts which are relatively new roles within the Family Centres. The role consists of working in a team who provide parenting support on an individual basis and parenting group programmes across Wrexham for those with a child between the ages of 0-18 years of age. In addition the post can require undertaking specialist parenting assessments and also leading the Flying start groups which operate within the Centres.
Applicants will be required to have excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills and demonstrate an ability to work with parents. The ability to travel across the County Borough and work flexibly across both Centres covering differing aspects of the work is essential.
For one post the experience of running Parenting programmes and knowledge of the Youth Justice System would be beneficial.
For the second post a qualification in CCLD (level5) early years is essential.
