Our service provides a nurturing, flexible environment, where different ‘gifts’ are celebrated, where expertise is shared, and where there are opportunities to develop interests. Educational Psychologists who work in Wrexham say that we are a close team where there is a varied range of supervision opportunities including peer support. The successful candidate will be expected to visit the Council’s car parks and on-streets locations in Wrexham itself and throughout the County Borough to ensure compliance with the parking restrictions that are in place and to issue penalty charge notices accordingly and also enforce environmental crimes accordingly. The successful candidate should be customer focused and have excellent communications skills. The post holder must have a high degree of tact, diplomacy and integrity as there is likely to be regular contact with members of the public often in difficult and confrontational circumstances. The successful candidate will also need to understand relevant highway and environmental legislation and be able to convey this information clearly to members of the public if approached.
