The ability to work flexibly and to travel between various settings and schools across Wrexham is essential. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility of approach; a strong sense of team-work and a high level of understanding of child development 0 – 3 years old. Experience working with parents/carers and children would be beneficial. The post will involve delivering Language and Play within the community and childcare settings, to parents and young children 0-4 yrs in Flying Start areas. This post requires enthusiasm, a good understanding of child development and well developed communication skills. The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is desirable. Travel between settings is an essential part of the role. A DBS clearance is essential for working within the Flying Start team.
