To be the right person for this role, you will have excellent communication skills, proven experience of working as part of a team, previous experience of working with children and / or vulnerable adults and the ability to respond appropriately to the needs of disabled children and adults whilst working within statutory guidelines, policies and standards.

The Governor Advisory Officer posts sits within the Governor Support Services team and forms an integral part of the Education Department, contributing to raising school governance standards.
Due to the growth of service provided to schools through a service level agreement the Governor Support Team is expanding to meet with demand.
The main office location is Lampbit Street; the post holder will be required to work regular evenings (approx. 1-2 evenings per week during term time) and attend schools across the County to deliver the service.
We are a friendly and committed team; supporting and advising volunteers and head teachers in their governor role.
We are seeking to appoint an excellent administrator who can demonstrate:-
• experience in providing advice, • experience of working within prescribed guidelines,• minute taking, • good organisational skills, • excellent communication and inter-personal skills, • ability to work to tight deadlines,• a flexible approach to working hours,• a passion to support volunteers.

To cover a period of maternity leave, the governors of this large, thriving mainstream primary school want to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic teacher to effectively coordinate the educational provision for pupils with hearing impairment within our Key Stage 2 resource provision. The role includes the coordination of a dedicated team of support staff and requires close liaison with NEWSSS, mainstream staff, parents and a range of health and social care professionals as appropriate.

The Education and early intervention Department seeks to recruit a motivated Youth Worker to support Young people to Facilitate their personal, social and educational development. This post is within the Inspire Youth Work in Hospital Project, which supports Young people who engage in Self Harming behaviours and in2change young person’s drug and alcohol team. The role plays a key role in supporting case workers with one to one interventions with young people, and supporting young people on hospital wards as well as delivering prevention activities in schools and Youth clubs.
